Rabbi Katy Allen

Rabbi Katy Z. Allen is the founder and spiritual leader of Ma’yan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope, which holds outdoor services all year long.

 

For twelve years, Rabbi Katy, a board certified chaplain, served first as a chaplain at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and then as a hospice chaplain.

 

In 2015, she founded the One Earth Collaborative, a project of Open Spirit, which seeks to deepen our connection to the Earth through programs for all ages that strengthen our bonds to the web of the Universe. Rabbi Katy is the co-founder and President pro-tem of the Jewish Climate Action Network, and she writes frequently about matters of the spirit and the Earth
