Little Free Library
Little Free Libraries are a global phenomenon. The small, front‐yard book exchanges number 36,000 around the world in 70 countries — from Iceland to Tasmania to Pakistan. Now, a new Little Free Library on the Open Spirit campus will join the movement to share books, bring people together and create communities of readers. Community engagement and sharing with others are at the heart of the Little Free Library movement and at the heart of our mission.
COVID-19 has changed day-to-day life drastically for everyone and the spirit of sharing in Little Free Libraries has shifted to accommodate the different and increased needs in our community. During this difficult time, Open Spirit is expanding our book exchange into a "Little Free Pantry" offering items like canned goods, toilet paper, sanitizing products, and more to those in need. If you are in need, please feel free to take something. If you are able, please leave something to offer and keep our community pantry functioning.
