Kimberly McClure

Kimberly is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, who draws on 20 years of personal practice, and an extensive background in the fields of Education, Theater and Expressive Arts. 

 

She currently teaches privately, in studios and in educational and assisted living settings throughout Framingham and Metrowest. Her style is warm, welcoming and engaging and she places high value on creating an inclusive and empowering space for work and practice to unfold.  

With an invested interest in the field of Trauma-Informed practices - as they relate to yoga, and to real life ‘off the mat’- Kimberly has trained with Sarahjoy Marsh and the DAYA Foundation, and Bessel van der Kolk, Founder of the Trauma Center in Brookline, MA.  She is passionate about helping people connect to practices that support an overall sense of well-being and engagement. 

Kimberly is one of our Veteran's Yoga teachers and offers special workshops at Open Spirit based on her personal Mandala Wellness model. Through Open Spirit’s Nourishing Teachers, Strengthening Classrooms initiatives, Kimberly leads educators in the Framingham Public Schools in practices of yoga, mindfulness and self-care
