"Unfolding Blessing" by Estella Loretto

Journey of the Spirit
Learning about the faith of our neighbors
Join us on a journey of discovery to gain greater understanding and appreciation of the faith and traditions of our neighbors, deepen relationships among fellow travelers, and strengthen our shared commitment to this community.
This new program of Open Spirit's Multi-faith Collaborative  includes a series of visits to spiritual communities in the greater Framingham area.
Along the way we'll...
  • Learn from our hosts about their faith and practice - how does it shape their lives?
  • Experience their sacred space and share a sense of their culture and tradition - what does it feel like, sound like, taste like?
  • Interact in spirited conversation with those we meet - how is this similar, how is this different, how can we learn from each other?
 Our journey began this Spring.
Watch for more details in the coming weeks and watch for our upcoming Fall dates!
Past Journey Visits:
April 2019 New England Buddhist Vihara and Meditation Center in Grafton.
May 2019  Congregation Beth El in Sudbury.
October 2019 we journeyed to the Islamic Center of Boston, Wayland.
December 2019  Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, Xaverian MissionCenter, 101 Summer St, Holliston.
UPCOMING JOURNEYS
Our next Journey will be on Sunday, February 9th, from 5-7 p.m.

We join Temple Beth Sholom, 50 Pamela Road in Framingham, MA, for their observance of Tu B’Shvat, a holiday which centers around trees, fruits and nuts traditionally found in Israel. With deep roots in ancient agrarian culture, today Tu B’Shvat has become a day for ecological awareness.
